The Aeschbach 1944 Swiss Edition shares the aesthetics of a WWII watch, but it relies on modern day movement technology. For this special edition we have chosen the best-in-class Sellita SW216 movement, known for its unparalleled accuracy and robustness, and its old world charm .

Utility by Design
The 36mm wide watchcase is made from 316L surgical stainless steel with a polished finish. As a nod to the original WWII models the 1944 has a domed Perspex crystal made of plexiglass. The dial has sublime legibility thanks to generous use of Super Luminova on hands and markers. The solid screw-in crown allows easy adjustment and provides the case with 100m water resistance. Straps
The Aeschbach 1944 models are supplied with our single pass canvas strap in khaki for an accomplished field look. It is also supplied with a robust black genuine leather strap with a polished buckle which beautifully matches the watch case. The spring pins allow for easy and frequent change of strap.
