Introducing the Aeschbach 1944 Automatic, a timepiece that has been in the making since 1944.
Its original purpose was to serve the German RLM, but it wasn't until now that this historically accurate watch came to fruition.
Based on Jakob Aeschbach's original design from 1944, it combines vintage aesthetics with modern ingenuity and precision. This masterpiece is powered by a durable and precise 21-jewel mechanical movement with automatic winding and a remarkable 40 hour power reserve.
Included are two straps: a classic military single pass canvas and a sleek black two-piece leather. Experience the best of both worlds with this exclusive collaboration.

Mechanical movement
The Aeschbach 1944 shares the aesthetics of a WWII watch, but it relies on modern day movement technology. We've chosen a 21-jewel automatic movement for its accuracy and robustness, as well as the sensation of a sweeping second hand.
Utility by Design
The 36mm wide watchcase is made from 316L surgical stainless steel with a polished finish. As a nod to the original WWII design the 1944 has a domed Perspex crystal. The dial has sublime legibility thanks to generous use of Super-Luminova on hands and markers. The solid screw-in crown allows easy adjustment and provides the case with 100m water resistance. The solid crown allows easy adjustment of time without compromising the case’s 100m water resistance.
